This program is designed to improve the knowledge base of the oncology multidisciplinary team, including gastroenterologists, about the expanding role and procedures of interventional endoscopy in cancer care with focus on gastrointestinal malignancies. A panel of expert speakers will provide updates on guidelines in GI cancer screening, diagnosis, staging and palliation with special emphasis on the cancer population.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
Upon completion of this program, participants will be able to:
• Recognize the expanding role of the interventional gastroenterologist in the care of gastrointestinal malignancies
• Review updates on the recently introduced technology and procedures in interventional gastroenterology relevant to cancer
care

PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The Phoenix Society of Gastroenterology cordially invites you to attend an CME/ABIM MOC‒certified presentation titled, “A Metabolic Approach to NASH Management.” This activity will provide gastroenterologists and hepatologists who treat and manage patients with nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) with the latest information on how to develop personalized multidisciplinary treatment plans to optimize the care of patients with NASH, as well as a discussion of emerging metabolic therapies for NASH treatment. The program will be presented for free, at no cost to the institution or the learners.

• Explain the relationship between NASH, obesity, and diabetes
• Determine appropriate strategies for early intervention and treatment in patients with NASH
